Music Enrichment Opportunities

Music within the curriculum is enhanced, supported and stimulated with extra-curricular activities, we offer:

• School Band
• Music Tech Club
• Choir
• KS4 Theory lessons
• Individual instrumental lessons, including drums and guitar
• Ukulele Club
• Recitals
• Summer Concert
• Trips to live performances
• Competitions
• Rap and Vocal Workshops

Performance opportunities within school include assemblies, open evenings, and individual year group recitals as well as larger events such as the Carol Service, William Rutlish Commemoration Service, Christmas carolling in the community and the Summer Concert.

Students are also encouraged to join groups outside school, such as those organised by Cherry Pie Music Foundation, Merton Music Foundation and national groups such as the National Children’s Orchestra.
