Rutlish School is pleased to celebrate the exceptional GCSE performance of our 2019 cohort.
Outstanding GCSE and BTEC results
We are extremely delighted to announce the best overall GCSE and BTEC results Rutlish has ever achieved. We have seen a rise in both attainment and progress which is indicating that our boys achieved an average of one grade higher than boys nationally across their eight subjects. This is a magnificent accomplishment for all the students.
The provisional results show 74% of students gained a Grade 4 or higher in GCSE English and Maths and 52% achieved a Grade 5 or higher in English and Maths. The EBacc entries and average point score continue to be above the national average. There has been an increase in the number of students achieving the top grades where a third of all grades were at 9 to 7.
We congratulate the outstanding achievements of Lucas Coetzee, Joe Collins, Aleksander Ivanov, Abdul Raffy Khan, Ben Stokes, Calum Thorne, Tamas Toth, Rubeen Ahmad, Matthew Coxon, Josh Craze, Farhan Rahman, Elliot Sanders, Sajean Sathiyakumar, Farasat Sindhu, Evan Thomas, Hadi Uteem, Vithusan Vivehanantharajah who all achieved 10 or more grades at 9-7.
