HOUSE COMPETITION

SPRING 2022

It has been another exciting term for the house competitions! We have now hosted a total of 19 competitions so far this year, including design, music, quizzes, articulate, and sports. The House Captains from year 12 were announced, and they are now beginning to organise their own events for RR6 competitions. It has been another close race between all eight houses, and every point has counted up until the very last minute! It’s been amazing to see so many students participate and win various prizes this term. As well as the school raise over £700 for the Comic Relief fun run!

We also welcomed two new house coordinators this term, Mr. De Brunner (Carthaginians) and Miss. Bourke (Argonauts). They have already been showing their competitive spirit and have both run some fantastic events.

Here are a few words from your house coordinators reflecting on the successes of their houses this term!

ROMANS - Ms Cuffe-Davies

Romans, yet another term has quickly ended, ready for you to enjoy a much-deserved easter break.

Congratulations to everyone that has taken part or supported their house team, as we are all important in making Romans show the spirit of the ancient Olympic games. That spirit is teamwork.

With each and every one of you, the difference you make in entering and trying your best will achieve our goal of being amongst the top again.

Be a champion and set yourself a challenge next term-we need all of you to work together and enter the house competitions.
