Year 8 & 9 Football Tour to Villarreal

During the Easter holidays, our Year 8 and 9 football teams took part in a highly successful tour to Villarreal, enjoying a memorable experience that combined high-quality football with valuable cultural opportunities.

The tour programme was both varied and enriching. Pupils participated in professional training sessions, played competitive matches, and enjoyed a stadium tour, giving them an insight into the standards and environment of elite football. A particular highlight for many was the chance to watch a live professional match, bringing the experience of the sport at the highest level to life.

In addition to football, the tour also offered a strong cultural dimension. A visit to Valencia provided an opportunity for sightseeing and exploration, allowing the boys to experience Spanish culture and see some of the region’s most iconic landmarks.

Throughout the tour, the boys were a credit to the school. Their attitude, behaviour and conduct were excellent, and staff were extremely proud of the way they represented themselves both on and off the pitch. The tour was an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all involved and one that will undoubtedly leave lasting memories.
