Rutlish School Celebrates Outstanding GCSE and BTEC Results
This morning, Rutlish School was filled with celebration and pride as students and staff came together to mark a truly exceptional set of GCSE and BTEC results. The atmosphere was electric as achievements were recognised and applauded across the school community.
Provisional results reveal that 41% of all grades awarded were 9–7, with an impressive 82% at grades 9–4. In core subjects, 90% of students achieved grade 4 or above in English, and 88% in Mathematics, reflecting the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
Among the many success stories, ten boys (Jens, Josiah, Sam, Thomas, Alan, Yik Hei, Dylan, Jerry, Ewen and Braden) achieved a remarkable 10 grade 9/8s, while thirteen more students earned 10 or more top grades of 9–7.
These results are a testament to the hard work, determination, and resilience of Rutlish students.
Headteacher [Ms Howarth] commented:
“We are incredibly proud of every single student. These results reflect not only academic achievement but also the personal growth and progress made during their time at Rutlish. Our students have truly embodied our school values of Aspiration, Learning, Respect, and Equality.”
The majority of the cohort will continue their educational journey at Rutlish by enrolling in RR6 courses, while others pursue exciting opportunities at local colleges and specialist institutions in fields such as catering and engineering.
Rutlish School extends heartfelt congratulations to all students and thanks staff, families, and the wider community for their unwavering support. This cohort has set a shining example of what can be achieved through dedication and ambition.
A huge well done to all.
