ENRICHMENT FOCUS

Today, many of our KS3 students including Dandy Dan stood proudly next to the Hollywood Oscar statuette, and displayed his award for an excellent portrayal of the character Dandy Dan in our recent school production of Oliver Twist. At Rutlish, we pride ourselves on developing talent in the Arts and encouraging students to reach their potential.

KS3 Student comment:

I think I worked really hard to bring my character to life and to make him appear as naturalistic as possible.

It was a bit difficult to learn all my lines, but in the end I am proud of the role I portrayed. Being part of Bugsy helped to build my self-confidence and allowed me to make new friends amongst the cast. I am looking forward to being part of the next one!
