It was really lovely to see our Year 11 students this morning to congratulate them for achieving their GCSE qualifications in what has been an extremely challenging year for them. They have been awarded an excellent set of grades which are broadly similar to our best overall GCSE and BTEC results Rutlish achieved last year.
I am pleased to announce that the Year 13s have been awarded strong results in their A Level and BTEC Level 3 qualifications this summer, in spite of the unprecedented circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic and the inconsistency of the calculated grades awarded.
Official ratings put Rutlish School as England’s best performing non-selective state funded boys’ school, based on the progress our students make from when they start at the school to when they complete their GCSEs.
